LVN

Licensed Nurse (LPN, LVN)
We are Counseling and Recovery Services. We are a for-profit, medication assisted treatment program in Corpus Christi, Texas. We help adult clients whose health and quality of life are compromised by opioid use disorder. We work to address our client’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. We have been serving Nueces County, and surrounding counties since 2010. We provide medication-assisted treatment (methadone, buprenorphine w/naloxone) for adults with opioid use disorders. CARS is seeking an LVN/LPN to join our high-energy team of professionals dedicated to treating the individual, wiping out stigma, and helping to rebuild the health and lives of the persons served.

Nursing staff performs under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, Program Physician, and Senior Nursing staff to provide support and coordinate care within the program. In this position, you would be required to fulfil the following functions:
Responsibilities include:
· Dispensing medication and recording dosages
· Maintaining records; conducting a sight and count inventory of the methadone supply daily
· Maintaining absolute accuracy in daily accounting of the methadone that is dispensed
· Administering appropriate lab tests as required including patient vital signs, TB tests (when required), and other nursing assessment techniques
· Scheduling and screening patients to be seen by Medical Director· Assisting the physician with history and physical as required
· Receiving medical orders and ensures that medical orders are documented and understood by Clinical Directors and other staff members
· Maintaining absolute control and tracking of all medical paperwork involving patient dose changes, lab results, physician orders, phase/level changes and verbal order

LCDC/LCDC Intern for Tomball location

CARS is currently seeking an LCDC/LCDC Intern for a counselor position at our Tomball, Texas location. Senior Counselor (LPC/LCDC)

CARS is currently seeking an LPC/LCDC-QCC for a senior counselor position at our Tomball, Texas location. We offer competitive compensation for individuals competent and capable in an therapeutic out patient setting providing opioid replacement therapeutics and counseling services. Candidates must work within a dynamic teamwork oriented environment and be capable to provide supervisory duties as needed to maintain a cohesive treatment team.
